The wrap-up feels a bit forced in its brevity, but--hell--this is a novella. The rest of the story, the clarity of the prose and fluidity of the action makes up for pithy resolution. Four stars. I enjoyed this very much; I think I might become a convert to the 'short novel' concept!
Stephen King with more depth. A well paced book. Very tight for a first author. Enjoyed it immensely.
Fun read! Takes you away to an interesting place for a few hours. Tickles your imagination with the plot and the "what if's". Leaves you wishing that there was a sequel. I really enjoyed reading this and look forward to reading more from Mr. Laughter.
I read it in one sitting. I was immediately pulled into the story. Can't wait to read book number 2.
